I grew up for the most part in San Diego and came to Chicago in September of 1997. I love Chicago, but I would also love to experience living in other places~
I enjoy writing, singing, reading, movies and music of almost every sort, traveling, my rescued love, Ella the wildcat, and making new friends~
I kept a Livejournal from 2000 to 2018 and backed it up here, mostly in private posts (for now)
I've been fortunate to find good friends on LJ and DW-- some that blossomed into real-life encounters and friendships-- and I continue to find inspiration in journaling together.
I hope that you do too~

Background: Administration in bio-tech, non-profit and university; and Veterinary Assistant at a cage-less, no-kill cat shelter where stray cats who are sick, injured, and abused are rescued, rehabilitated and adopted into forever homes of their own.
